KOLOLO

A prime location that is located on a hill, easily accessible,  secure, very residential and homes in this area. It is a sought after by the foreign community.

Mostly consists of old colonial houses (bungalows) refurbished (with character). There are a good number of newly built homes, the colonial style houses have big mature gardens. Most of the homes in this areas have lots of fantastic living space. There is also some good commercial space on the main streets like Acacia, Wampewo avenue and Prince Charles drive

It takes about seven minutes to drive to this area from the city

The accomodation in this place is mixed mostly single standing homes, some apartment blocks, a few cottages and townhouses.

The rents range between US$ 1500-8000 or even more depending on what one is looking for

US$ 2000 for a good home with at least 3-4 bedrooms, a study, big garden with trees and shade in other words a home with character. There are homes which cost much more than this I .e US$ 4000 these would have a swimming pool, mature big garden, gym and a guest wing

There is a big mall called Acacia that has a big super market-Nakumatt, plus restaurants like Caffeserie, KFC, a cafe Pattisserie plus cinemas on the top floor.

This same area has a shopping place called Kisementi with shops, restaurants The Crocodile, The Bistro, Tandoori and bars Just Kicking, Fat Boyz, Iguana. Other restaurants in the area are Khana Khazana, Meditteranno, Big Mikes, The Lawns, Mythos (a Greek restaurant), Nanjing, Ranchers.
